The Porsche 911 (992.2) Carrera GTS marks a technological turning point in the history of the 911, as it is the first to feature a performance hybrid system. At its heart is a newly developed 3.6-litre boxer engine combined with an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger and an additional electric motor. This so-called „T-Hybrid“ system boosts total output to over 500 hp while delivering virtually lag-free response, since the classic turbo lag is practically eliminated. Despite the electrification, the focus stays firmly on performance: 0 to 100 km/h is dispatched in around three seconds, with a top speed north of 300 km/h.
